This Seamaster 120 I got from my friend Uffe that had the watch for an short period. In fact both of us were offered the watch from a guy in Austria. The gentleman I am I did let it go to my dear friend Uffez. I guess that his close to not present conscience did leave him in tremendous agony, So the watch was offered to me a sunny afternoon to ease his soul. LOL
Well the seller from Austria claims that the watch was
given to him from an ex. Major fighter pilot in Israel. There are no military
markings on the watch and they are usually not. So I did ask Omega in Bienne for
an "Extrackt
of Records" to see if the watch was sold in Israel, and indeed it was. I
was told from an Italian collector that it was he was sure that the watch was an
IDF. If any one has any helpful information in this issue please contact me.
If the watch is issued or not is not that big a deal to me. But as an collector
it is nice to study the watch history.
